One tool for the whole chain. Nobody else covers it at this price.
Everyone does a slice — the sitemap, or the copy, or the approval, or the publish. DraftBay connects them in one workflow, for $19 a month per workspace.

The whole chain is owned by no one — at your price.
Few tools connect all four
GatherContent connected the chain, then moved to quote-only enterprise pricing. DraftBay covers structure, copy, sign-off and hand-off to your designer (who marks each page built) for $19 a month per workspace. Publish connectors are coming soon.
Everyone else does a slice
Sitemap tools stop at structure. Proofing tools only approve. Figma tools only do product strings. You end up stitching.
Docs is the real incumbent
Most teams run copy in a Google Doc + a spreadsheet. Free, but disconnected — no structure, no approval, no publish.
Side by side, honestly.
Each one includes when the other tool is the better choice.

The short answers.
What is a good GatherContent alternative for a small agency?
If you want a website's sitemap, copy, approval and hand-off in one place at a small-team price, DraftBay is built for that. If you mainly need to collect files and answers from clients, Content Snare is the more specialised tool.
Is GatherContent still available?
Yes, under a new name. Bynder acquired GatherContent in 2022, and the product is now sold as Content Workflow by Bynder, aimed mainly at larger content teams.
How is DraftBay different from Slickplan?
Slickplan is a strong visual planning tool for sitemaps, user-flow diagrams and mockups. DraftBay has a sitemap too, but focuses on what comes next: who writes each page, review and approval with a trail, and a hand-off to the designer, who marks each page built, plus a spreadsheet export.
Can I keep using Google Docs with DraftBay?
Yes. Copy can live anywhere with a link, such as Google Docs, SharePoint or Word online. DraftBay tracks its status, comments and sign-off.
Does DraftBay publish to my CMS?
Not yet. Today DraftBay hands approved copy to your designer inside DraftBay, where they mark each page built, plus a one-click spreadsheet with every page, its address, the approved copy link and redirects. Publish connectors for Webflow, Framer and WordPress are coming soon.
