What you get

Sitemap, copy, approval and hand-off.

Four steps, one place, one status for every page.

1

Map the site

Build the sitemap as a mind-map or a table, or import an existing tree. Name what launches now and what comes later.

2

Get the copy written

Request copy for a page or a whole section. Writers work in Google Docs, SharePoint or Word online; DraftBay keeps the link.

3

Review and approve

Comment, @mention, send back, approve. Roles per person, email reminders, approval pinned to a version, and a trail of who decided what.

4

Hand off

Hand approved copy to your designer, who marks each page built. One click also exports a spreadsheet: every page, its address, the approved copy link and redirects.

Why teams switch

Made for one website at a time.

🗺

The sitemap is the backbone

Every page shows whether it has copy, who has it, and whether it's approved. Gaps show up before launch.

🔗

Keep your documents

No new editor to learn. Copy stays in the documents your writers already use, and DraftBay tracks it.

👥

Everyone included

$19 a month per workspace with unlimited people and projects: your team, your writers, your freelancers and your clients.

📋

A Board that nudges

DraftBay's checks and AI find missing pages, pages without copy and copy waiting for approval, and ask your team clarifying questions.

🧭

Guided setup

A setup wizard gets the project, roles and first pages in place. One person can hold several roles.

🚀

Launch now, add later

Named website versions keep "after launch" pages visible but faded, so the first launch isn't held up.

Honest limits

DraftBay is a young product with a narrow focus. It's worth knowing what it doesn't do:

  • No publishing to your CMS yet. Connectors for Webflow, Framer and WordPress are coming soon. Today the hand-off is the designer’s “Your work” list in DraftBay, plus a one-click spreadsheet.
  • No account-free client review links yet. Also coming soon. For now, a client who approves copy needs a login; add them to their own project only and that's all they see.
  • No built-in writing editor. Copy is written in your own documents. If you want structured templates with rules for every field, Content Workflow by Bynder does that well.
  • Not for collecting files from clients. For gathering logos, photos and answers to questionnaires, a tool like Content Snare is more specialised.

What does DraftBay not do yet?

Publish connectors for Webflow, Framer and WordPress, and client review links that work without an account, are both coming soon. Today the hand-off is the designer’s “Your work” list in DraftBay, plus a one-click spreadsheet.
